First Call’s Submission for BC Budget 2027

First Call Child and Youth Advocacy Society has submitted recommendations for BC Budget 2027, calling on the provincial government to put children and youth first in public spending decisions.

Our submission highlights three priority areas: reducing child poverty through stronger income supports and affordability measures; investing in prevention and early intervention supports for families with young children; and increasing K–12 education funding so schools can better support students with diverse learning needs.

These recommendations reflect First Call’s ongoing commitment to advancing the rights and well-being of children and youth across British Columbia.
