Advocating for policy change plays a crucial role in amplifying the voices of children, youth and families who may not have the platform to advocate for themselves.

It allows us to raise awareness about critical issues, influence policy and legislative changes, and mobilize support for programs and initiatives that benefit children and youth.

First Call holds monthly meetings featuring presentations on emerging child rights issues. Together, we share information, provide our members with tools and resources and advocate collectively for BC’s children and youth.

Through effective advocacy, we can work towards creating a more supportive and inclusive environment where all BC children and youth have the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.
