Following up on several conversations at the First Call Child and Youth Advocacy Society Early Childhood Development Roundtable about the funding cuts earlier this year by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to settlement programs in BC, First Call is collecting information about the scope of the cuts across the province. This survey was first circulated in July 2025 and is being recirculated to reach additional respondents.
Our thanks to all previous respondents. Please share with any organizations you know of that have been affected by these funding cuts.
The information is being collected to use in our advocacy to raise public awareness of the impact of these cuts and to lobby all levels of government to restore funding for the programs that have been lost or reduced.
We will not share your individual response to this survey publicly without your explicit permission. Rather the data collected will be aggregated to help paint a picture of the extent and impacts of these cuts in BC.
