Changing the Way We Support the Mental Health of Youth In Care and From Care

The Canadian Mental Health Association of BC released a paper that aims to further explore how BC can better support youth in and from care, with a specific lens on their mental health and well-being. It explores the current context of foster care in BC, the mental health and substance use-related needs of youth in and from care, and the impacts of current service levels on the mental health and well-being of young people aging out of care. The paper includes four recommendations on how to support the mental health of youth in and from care.
