Nominations are open for the BC Child and Youth in Care Week Awards!

BC Child and Youth in Care Week will be held June 5–11, 2017, and an important part of the celebrations is to recognize individual youth in and from care who have made outstanding strides in their lives this year with the BCCYICW Awards!

Deadline for submissions: Monday, May 1, 2017

BC Child and Youth in Care Week is looking for a young artist who can help to rebrand the week for 2018!  They are calling all current and former youth in care to submit their artwork with a title/slogan that expresses their personal message about celebrating children and youth in care.

The winner’s work will be featured in the posters and other communications for BC Child and Youth in Care Week 2018, and the lucky artist will take home a $100 gift card!

The Vancouver Foundation and FBCYICN have announce a new bursary to support community celebrations for youth in and from care in honour of BC Child and Youth in Care Week.

Organizations can apply for a bursary to help cover the costs of their event.

Applications are due on May 1, 2017 and successful applicants will be notified by May 15, 2017.
